I am in an Eurostar train from Paris. It is 19.59 on December 29th and the train has been stopped in Stratford International, a station not yet operational for Eurostar services. The train should have arrived at St. Pancras, London, about half an hour ago.
The train personnel is informing that there has been an electrical problem in St. Pancras, which has caused the failure. The problem is due, they say, to a fire in Kentish Town.
I have just finished my last line, and the train is moving again…
Update: Yes, after the movement restarted, we just got to St. Pancras and voilá!
